Roelant Wijngaards: A Candidate for the Montessori Europe Board of Directors

He hopes to become more connected with the international Montessori community, particularly in Europe, and would appreciate your support.
Here is a little about Roelant, why he wants to join and what he hopes to achieve:
The past thirteen years I have worked at Montessori College Nijmegen as an English teacher, team leader and now as an Agora coach. As Webmaster and Public Relations Coordinator I have experience in managing the website, developing content for social media and coordinating with activities to promote the school.
I have always been inspired by my father who, as well as being a teacher himself, later became Secretary General of AEDE (European Association of Teachers), deputy director of European Schoolnet and Professor of e-learning at INholland University of Applied Sciences.
All my life my father showed me his passion for education and in connecting people in Europe and beyond. The value of connecting, learning from and helping each other was imminent from my childhood onwards.
I would like to become a board member of Montessori Europe to share my positive mindset, flexibility, networking skills and vision on Montessori education. I believe my experience and skills to promote and host events and workshops, internationally, will be a valuable asset.
A vote for Roelant is not a vote for our association but would support our shared mission of promoting peace education, cultural understanding and international friendship.
We ask all of our friends who share this vision to register and vote for Roelant, so that he may achieve his goals of connecting the Montessori world and supplying a multicultural platform for students and teachers to engage in.
