The committee of students organising the Global Montessori Games 2023 is well underway with planning. Here they are in a digital meeting with the founders of Global Association of Montessori Education and Sport from the Netherlands and England (but living in China).
The event will take place at Davinci Montessoriskole in Bergen, Norway from Monday 6th of March until Saturday 11th of March 2023.
Around 100 students from all over the world will come to Bergen for this second edition.
This event is about building a peaceful and better world by practicing sports and making new friendships. Pupils, teachers and school leaders alike, will learn more about different countries, and their cultures, by working together and sharing ideas and practices.
It is not about competition or winning prizes but coming together and participating in sports in the Olympic spirit of fun, friendship, solidarity and fair play.
