Programme Elementary GMG 2023 – Italy

The first Global Montessori Games for upper elementary pupils between 9 and 12 years old is in Italy. Eight Montessori schools from all over the world will come to the Montessori in Pratica in Almese. A mix of activities (sports, culture and acquaintance) will be offered here.

This is the provisional programme.

*Most schools will arrive on Sunday 16th of April

Mon	Day 1: Arrival
	Everyone will register for the event at the school and receive their information package. Times are unknown, as teams will arrive throughout the day. After lunch there will be a formal welcome from the Mayor and other authorities. Pupils have dinner at their host families
Tue	Day 2: Sports on the lake day
	A day full of sports in and on the lake nearby the school. There will be several activities where you can choose from. Pupils have dinner at their host families
Wed	Day 3: Games day
	This will be a games and circus day in the garden of the school. Pupils have dinner at their host families Cultural exchange market.
Thu	Day 4: Hiking day
	We will go hiking on Musinè Mountain and visit prehistoric remains. Pupils have dinner at their host families Together we will visit Turin (Torino). We will visit the Egyptian Museum, cinema Museum, Mole Antonelliana, Castle and royal Gardens. Pupils have dinner at their host families
Fri	Day 5: Turin day
	Together we will visit Turin (Torino). We will visit the Egyptian Museum, cinema Museum, Mole Antonelliana, Castle and royal Gardens. Pupils have dinner at their host families
Sat	Day 6: Farewell day
	Host families will drive their guests to the station, depending on what time their group leaves. Time to say goodbye to new friends made
