Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire.
We want to promote peace education, cultural understanding and international friendship, by bringing young people and educators together, to learn from and with one another, while making life long memories.
During the first Global Montessori Games, over one hundred students, teachers and educators, from all over the world, came together to connect through sport, education and shared culture.
We hope that together, we may build a more peaceful and better world.
