It is our mission to unite young people and educators from all over the world, and engage them in shared sporting, educational and cultural activities that promote international friendship, cultural understanding, peace and sustainability
Although we use sports as a tool for connection and as a driver for social change, our main focus is on providing learning and social experiences that encourage equality, health and harmony, through collaboration and cultural exchange.
For this reason, our events have no winners or prizes. Instead, we remove the competition and combine children of mixed age, gender, nationality and ability, to participate in the Olympic spirit of fun, friendship, solidarity and fair play.
Global Montessori Games is an inclusive and immersive experience that connect people through sports, education and shared culture, with the aim of fostering peace, respect and mutual understanding among children of all ages. We offer this experience to two separate age groups, upper elementary and adolescents, recognizing the diverse needs and interests of children in different planes of development.
In addition to sports and cultural exchange, Sustainable Development Games is focuses on raising awareness and giving hands-on experience of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and allowing young people to immerse themselves in these challenges, and work together to find solutions. This creates international collaboration to address global issues, while making an impact on the people and communities with which we work.
We hope that we may help guide young people to become better world citizens of tomorrow. With our small contribution to peace and sustainability, we just may be able to impact the greater peace the world needs.
