Students, teachers, and school leaders will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of different countries and cultures by working and learning together, exchanging ideas, and sharing their unique practices. Through collaboration and dialogue, participants will build meaningful connections with peers from around the world.

Although the programme includes physical activity, it is far more than a sporting event. It is an inclusive celebration of cultures that promotes education, equality, and international friendship through shared experiences in sport and learning. The activities embrace the Olympic spirit of fun, friendship, solidarity, and fair play.

For this reason, the focus is not on competition or winning prizes, but on cooperation and mutual understanding. The aim is to create an environment where young people and educators can learn from one another and contribute to a more peaceful and sustainable future.

Due to the physical activities, cultural exchange, and travel involved, the event is best suited for upper-elementary students aged 8 to 12. Schools are invited to participate with teams of six students and two teachers. Students will have the opportunity to stay with local host families, offering a meaningful chance to experience French culture and daily life while providing a safe and welcoming place to stay.

We have already received considerable interest and warmly welcome schools from around the world. Our hope is to create a diverse gathering of countries, continents, and cultures. To secure a place, we encourage schools to express their interest as early as possible.

‘ The aim of Global Association of Montessori Education and Sport is to connect people through sport and education. It is about building a peaceful and better world by practicing sports and making new friendships. Pupils, teachers and school leaders alike, will learn more about different countries, and their cultures, by working together and sharing ideas and practices.’

We welcome you to join our mission, and to share in this amazing experience.
