Students, teachers, and school leaders alike will have the chance to deepen their understanding of different countries and cultures by working and learning collaboratively, exchanging ideas, and sharing their unique practices.

Although this event includes physical activity, it is by no means solely a sporting event, but an inclusive celebration of diverse cultures that aims to promote education and equality through the unity and active participation in sports, embracing the Olympic spirit of fun, friendship, solidarity, and fair play.

Therefore, the focus is not on competition or winning prizes, but on collaboration and the building of a more peaceful and sustainable future through the shared experience of young people and educators across the globe.

Participants will also get the opportunity to learn and get hands-on experience of Sustainable Development Goals 3: Good health and Well-being and 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, which our hosts have chosen in order to raise awareness of issues within the local community, in the hope we may make an impact there, and use this experience to take action at home.

Due to physical demands, cultural sharing and the travel involved, this event is best suited to upper-elementary students, between grades 4 and 6, and we invite teams of 6 students and 2 teachers to apply. Students have the opportunity to stay with local families, who will play a vital role in sharing Turkish culture and customs, as well as providing a safe place to stay.

We have already received considerable interest and extend our warm welcome to schools worldwide, hoping for a diverse representation of countries, continents, and cultures. To secure your spot, we encourage you to express your interest as early as possible.
