Yesterday was the official opening of Global Montessori Games, Bergen, Norway, and what an amazing start to the week!
Participants came from all over the world and were welcomed at our host school; Davinci Montessoriskole, for their first chance to get to know one another and make international friendships.
As well as sports and team building activities in the Brann football stadium, we were treated to an exhibition about Bergen and Norwegian culture, presented by the the school’s elementary students.
It was a great day of introduction and connection that was wonderfully capped off by the Opening Ceremony, at which we enjoyed the anthem of Bergen of Norwegian singer Lykke Kristine Moen.
What a fantastic start to what promises to be an amazing week of fun, friendship and shared culture.
