We wish you all the best for 2020 and we hope to see you at one of our Global Montessori Games next year.

Last year our first event saw Montessori students and educators come from around the world and connect through sporting, educational and cultural activities, creating an unforgettable experience and making lifelong memories.

In 2020 we offer two exciting events exclusively for Montessori schools around the world:

  • We are proud to announce the first elementary edition of the Global Montessori Games. It will be hosted by Positive School Ecole Internationale Montessori, Gières, France, and will take place Monday 21st – Friday 25th September 2020.
  • Due to sporting demands, cultural sharing and the travel involved, this event is best suited to upper-elementary students, between grades 4 and 6. Teams will consist of 8 students, 4 boys and 4 girls, and we suggest that they be accompanied by 2 coaches, preferably of different gender.

  • Our second adolescent Global Montessori Games will take place in Heltberg Privat Gymnas, in Drammen, Norway, between Monday 7th of December until Saturday 12th of December 2020, making this our first Winter GMG.
  • We would like to welcome more teams, from more countries, so there will be 9 teams of 6 students, 3 male and 3 female, to provide more opportunity for participation and a greater mix of cultures.

As a nonprofit organization, we really rely on donations and sponsorship in order to be able to offer these experiences to the young people we are working with. Supporting this fundraising campaign and sharing it among fellow Montessorians can help us do exactly that.

With your help, we can achieve our goal of connecting people through sport, education and shared culture.
